ADDITIONAL TRYOUTS
We will soon announce tryouts for the competition cheer teams for next season. All athletes will be judged on the required skills and abilities to fill a limited number of spots. You may still try out even if you missed the cheer camp or do not attend JBEN Gymnastics classes.
LOCATION
Practices will be at the JBEN Gymnastics' Gym at 925 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 2-3 days per week.

Coaches Who Care
Our coaches take teaching gymnastics seriously. We understand that each student is different, and our goal is to help each of them overcome hurdles and reach their goals.

With years of experience tumbling and teaching, our coaches are eager to teach the students as well as show them how to do it. Most of our coaches take the adult class as well to continue to develop their skills.

Classes Available
We teach ages 3* and up, including an adult class. Our class locations and times are:
Tuesday, Thursday, & Fridays - JBEN Gymnastics' gym at 925 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA - 5 pm - 8 pm classes (Friday 4:30 pm Little Leapfrogs)
Tuesday 8:00 pm - JBEN Gymnastics' gym - Adult Class
Wednesday - Stickleyville Community Center at 46272 Wilderness Rd, Duffield, VA - 5 pm - 8 pm classes
Summer classes - announced by May each year.
*We will take 3 year-olds if potty trained and ready to follow direction.

A little about the owners ...
Jimmy Elkins
- Jimmy has over 30 years experience teaching and over 40 years as a gymnast.
Family
- Jimmy & Becke Elkins have been married for 26 years. They have 2 sons, Ethan and Noah and one daughter-in-law, Lily. Ethan graduated ETSU as a computer animator and currently getting his Masters at ETSU. He is married to Lily, who graduated from UVA and received her Masters at Yale. Noah graduated high school and received his Associates Degree at MECC both in 2023. He currently attends Averett University. They live in Wise, Virginia.
Jimmy and Becke both work for Norton City Schools during the day and enjoy their gymnastics family in the evenings.
Goals
- As parents of children who have always participated in sports and extra curricular activities in school, we understand and strive to treat each parent as we want to be treated. We treat each child as we want our children to be treated.
